CLEANING
- Use a damp cloth and wipe down after every wear if necessary. For leather thongs clean after every wear and let air dry
-Remove any sweat, bodily fluids, or deodorants with a damp cloth and let air dry
- Never submerge your leather in water or any other liquids or oils, and avoid harsh chemicals like perfumes on your leathers
-Every so often about once or twice a year you can do a deep clean with a pH-balanced leather soap or saddle soap
CONDITIONING
- Condition your leathers every once in a while with leather conditioner. For thongs and strap ons make sure to condition with a body safe, non-toxic conditioner. Either something beeswax based, tallow, or jojoba oil based.
-Some leather conditioners darken the colour of your leather. Make sure to do a patch test first to ensure your conditioner won't change to colour too much.
- After cleaning and conditioning, hang up and air dry your leather. Never leave it scrunched up somewhere, and keep it out of direct sunlight.
